We have been clearing brambles from the Leach Fields and trimming back hedges, mainly on the Oak Tree path in the centre of the fields. This will prevent paths becoming obstructed when the winter rains and snow arrives.

One of the footbridges suffered a broken plank, and a handrail was broken on the South path when a branch fell. The replacement timber was ordered, and we managed to fit the replacements on 25th November.

We are attending a charity lunch next week, so for once there will be no work party in the woods.
